From Idea to Implementation
- Description
This course is designed to guide aspiring entrepreneurs through the full journey of turning an idea into intentional action. Rather than focusing solely on inspiration or theory, the course emphasizes practical thinking, creative problem solving, and real-world implementation.
Learners will explore the mindset shifts required to move from traditional thinking to entrepreneurial thinking, and develop the skills needed to brainstorm, refine, and test ideas effectively. Through tools such as brain dumping, group brainstorming, design thinking, systems thinking, empathy mapping, and buyer persona creation, students will learn how to design solutions that are both innovative and grounded in real human needs.
The course also addresses critical entrepreneurial realities, including timing, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to handle objections and feedback with confidence. Learners will examine real-world examples—such as the story of Groupon—to understand how experimentation, pivots, and MVP testing drive growth and reduce risk.
In addition, the course introduces foundational business protections, including intellectual property awareness, work-for-hire agreements, trade secrets, trade dress, and practical content protection strategies. These concepts ensure learners understand not only how to build ideas—but how to protect them.
By the end of the course, learners will have a clear framework for moving from idea to execution, along with the confidence and tools to test, refine, and grow their entrepreneurial ventures with purpose and clarity.
